This process of breaking down triglycerides is referred to as lipolysis. In other words, As you lose weight, you do not lose cells; you burn the fat stored within each cell, and this causes them to grow smaller. The fat cell shrinks, and that's why you look leaner – because the fat cell is now smaller.
Procedures like liposuction can remove fat, and the removed fat will not return, but with weight gain remaining fat cells in the removed area and other parts of the body will enlarge.
However, there are many steps that you can take to reduce your overall body fat percentage and size. These steps include eating a healthy diet, exercising regularly, and reducing stress. By taking these steps, you will improve not only your physical health but also your mental well-being. So what are you waiting for? Get started on your journey to a healthier self today!
